It became clear to us at the latest when gas stations transformed into mini-supermarkets: the Lantzerath Group aims to achieve more in the field of cutting-edge technology than just developing modern auto fuel terminals – which we invented – so we aren’t resting on our laurels but are staying at the cutting edge.
In 1997, the Lantzerath Group takes over BiCA AG – a Swiss manufacturer of fuel terminals – and thus integrates the manufacturing side of the industry into the group of companies. However, the Lantzerath Group wants to do more with BiCA than just manufacture fuel terminals: Since 2001, it has been consistently and successfully developing BiCA into a cross-industry software house with its CiRRUS product.
CiRRUS: Universally applicable
CiRRUS can be used to control all sales and management processes across all sectors. One for all – hardware-independent, simple and flexible via the Internet. Even complex branch networks in retail, C-store and gastronomy can be set up, managed and optimized in an agile manner. With CiRRUS, users control everything: their point of sale, their back office, their marketing. This leaves them more time for the individual needs of their customers.
Becoming reality from a vision
Today, CiRRUS is constantly being further developed at four software design locations in Lucerne (headquarters), Cologne, Vienna and Palo Alto. Our customers use CiRRUS at more than 3,000 payment terminals and carry out 1.65 million transactions with it every day – from bakeries and petrol station chains to large retail groups. Many of them have been customers of the Lantzerath Group for years and decades and trust our innovative solutions.
BiCA itself has become the European market leader for individual hardware and software solutions for the point of sale. The company is characterized by a creative spirit of innovation and dynamism as well as the important values of loyalty, commitment and attitude. The personal motivation of our employees is therefore extremely high – and we are proud of this.
